Antigua, Barbuda and Redonda takes place in a parliamentary representative democratic monarchy, wherein the Sovereign Queen Elizabeth II is the head of state, appointing a Governor General as representative in the nation that acts on the advice of the Prime minister and the cabinet. It comprises six Parishes and two Dependencies.

Economy
Antigua, Barbuda and Redonda is one of the Caribbean most prosperous nations, thanks to its tourism industry and offshore financial services. Manufacturing comprises enclave-type assembly for export. Prospects for economic growth in the medium term will continue to depend on tourist arrivals. An effort is also being made to expand technological industries, which are less subject to fluctuations in prices.
