RELOCATION

TEMPORARY HOUSING:
Will be provided while visiting the island to search for a property or while the assignees are waiting for the house.
SHORT TERM RENTALS: are considered being from one 3 days to 6 month period maximum in some islands. The price of the rent would be twice or more than the price of a long term rental because it includes all the utilities and housewares, furniture and decorations.
LONG TERM RENTALS : are for a period minimum of 6 months on and can be furnished or unfurnished. The price of the rent is less than a short term because all utilities are paid by lessee unless some can be included in the rent when we negotiate the terms of the contract.
Politics

Saint Lucia is a sovereign island and a Commonwealth Realm. Queen Elizabeth is the Head of State, represented in the Island by a Governor General.The Prime Minister is normally the head of the party commanding the support of the majority of the members of the House of Assembly which has 17 seats. Saint Lucia is a two party parliamentary democracy.
Economy
Thetwin pillars in St. Lucia's economy are; Construction and Tourism. The economy depends primarily on tourism (65% of GDP), banana production and light manufacturing. Saint Lucia's relatively efficient legal system secures private property and sustains macroeconomic stability. The business environment is generally efficient and transparent, and the regulatory framework has become stream-lined. The supply of long-term private rental properties is limited, as most landlords prefer to rent to short-term vacationers.
